Manchester City are now on an incredible unbeaten streak of 26 games, breaking the record for the longest unbeaten winning streak in European Cup/ Champions League history. This achievement surpasses Manchester United’s record of 25 games unbeaten which lasted from September 2007 to May 2009.
They showcased their dominance once again against Sparta Praha with Haaland scoring two goals, Matheus Nunes, John stones and Phil Foden were also on the score sheet.
Haaland’s now has a total of 44 Champions league goals and counting. His impressive feat puts him ahead of Didier Drogba, who also has 44 goals, while Neymar follows closely with 43 and Del Piero with 42. What’s more remarkable is that Haaland is still only 24 years old, hinting at a bright future ahead.
