A YOUNG WRITER

Who are you?

You mean me?

A young writer on his own.

Say well done, give me hope.

We are not dragging the star.

Looking back, I feel the scar.

Who do you want to see at home?

A young writer on his own.

They wonder if I’m an introvert.

Or will I change in the next verse?

See how big he has grown,

A young writer on his own.

Does he ever feel lonely?

Every minute he’s writing story.

Maybe we should tell the pope,

He’s a young writer on his own.

You want to hear him talk?

Collect his pen, deny him a hug.

Like a lion he’ll roar,

“I’m a young writer on my own”
